Publishing With Smashwords.com

I know I've been in hiding for along time, but I've been busy re-editing all my books and republishing them through Smashwords.com.

ShadowsForge series (Three Times a Hero, Trials on Tour, Retaking America, and The Long Way Home) are now available Here

ShadowsForge is a British rock band with an 80s flavor. If you miss the 80s or missed the 80s, you'll love these five trouble-making, woman-loving musicians

ShadowsForge 1: Three Times a Hero - Can two cold hearts spark a fire, when they collide on a snowy mountain road and spend three days alone together in a snowbound cabin?

ShadowsForge 2: Trials on Tour - Travel with ShadowsForge as they continue the Ethereal Edge Tour, spending two explosive weeks at venues throughout the United Kingdom. Join Ty Synclair and his band mates, Geoff Richards, Jordan Cantrell, Jon Wiles and Brian Cummings as they tour their homeland, trying to stay one step ahead of danger.

ShadowsForge 1: Three Times a Hero and ShadowsForge 2: Trials on Tour are released as one ebook. Two for the price of one!

ShadowsForge 3: Retaking America - Join Geoff Richards, Ty Synclair, Jordan Cantrell, Jon Wiles, and Brian Cummings as they return to the U.S. for additional tour dates, internal strife and unexpected surprises as they cross the Atlantic intent on Retaking America

ShadowsForge 4: The Long Way Home - Brian and Diane fight to overcome the past, embrace the present, and build a future as they travel with ShadowsForge in The Long Way Home

I hope that I am able to find new readers for my novels. I want to share my stories with as many people as possible. After all, that is why we writers write! Share with your friends and family. I appreciate you all.

I've been gone so long...

I must apologize for being away so long. A lot of changes have come along but I want to update what is happening with my novels.

The ShadowsForge series is once more available, as well as new novels. All of my work is now available under both my pen name and my  real name. They have been released through Smashwords.com.

I hope you will take a look and perhaps  make a purchase of the novels I have released. Thank you.

Shyanne's Secret

Cole Jackson promised to take care of Shyanne Bennett. It was a promise he intended to keep—and then her father lynched him. It might take time, but he’d find a way. Shyanne Bennett loved Cole Jackson, that sassy half-blood. She lost her mind when he died to keep her secret. Cole promised to take care of her but how could he once Harvey Bennett hung him?
1877 - Oregon Territory. Orphaned half-Piaute Cole Jackson came of age and applied to take over his parents' farmland. As he worked in the barn, spoiled Shyanne Bennett came to visit. She was beautiful: blonde, blue-eyed and very friendly. Her attention led to a mostly innocent night spent in the hay loft, but ended in accidental tragedy. Cole would do anything to keep her secrets. What he didn't know was that his promise would cost him his life. When a band of hooded riders lynched him, his double life began.

Shyanne Bennett truly loved Cole Jackson. She realized it after their night in the loft when she failed to get all she wanted from the half-blood. Her love was confirmed the night she ran through the darkness, arriving at his farm in time to find a band of men had hung him. The rope in the tree was cut and a new grave lay along side Cole's parents plots. She lost her mind, knowing he died to keep her secret. Cole promised to take care of her but how could he now? Thus began the long road back, knowing she'd allowed the man she loved to be killed and she'd done nothing to stop it. Ravaged by guilt, Shyanne spent many nights wandering through the Oregon landscape to end up prostrate on the cold ground of Cole's grave, allowing the earth to drink her tears. He promised to take care of her. How could he, now that he was dead?

The Latest - January 8, 2008

Happy New Year! It's time that I begin to keep a proper blog and I will do my best to stay on top of it.

New Year's Resolution: I will be attempting to write two new books and have them under contract if not released by the end of 2008. I also will do my best to attain one or two more #1 Best Sellers in 2008.

What's New?

I'm working on a totally different genre, a western of all things. How's that for stepping outside the box? From British rock and roll to cowboys and half-breeds. Shyanne's Secret is churning about in my head and I'll be getting the first draft of it completed by mid to late February if all goes to plan.

I'm working on Jon's Way, the fifth installment to the ShadowsForge series. Jon is giving me a couple of option for the direction he wants his story to go. I'm still trying to make up his mind!

Love Lifted Me, a short story I wrote and entered into a competition on www.EditRed.com in October, was the winner for November 2007 and will be included in an anthology of short stories published by EditRed.

Chippewa Publishing LLC closed their doors November 1st, 2007, leaving Her Perfect Man, my dark romance, orphaned. Up side is that the rights were returned to me before they closed and no bankruptcy is involved. I am in the process of finding a new home for it. More in this soon.

ShadowsForge 4: The Long Way Home finished December 2007 in the #7 Best Seller at Whiskey Creek Press and received a Five Angel review from Fallen Angel Reviews.

That's about all I can think of at the moment. As I've said, I will do my best to keep my blog up to date on what's going on.

Have a stellar day and ... Believe in Dreams!

ShadowsForge 4: The Long Way Home is the story of Brian Cummings, percussionist. Find out what has made him the man that he is, and join the tour as ShadowsForge takes THE LONG WAY HOME

BLURB:

Brian Cummings has come a long way from Leicestershire, England. Miles of hard road lay between then and now—hard road he’s kept hidden—until the nightmares begin again.

Diane Starling loves Brian. If she were not carrying his child, she’d still do anything to make him happy—even letting him go to someone else. Who is the woman in his nightly dreams? Why does she make him scream?

Valerie Leonard, journalist, dredges up history that should remain buried; history that could ruin Brian and hurt the people he loves most. Should Val keep his dangerous past to herself? Doesn’t Diane have the right to know the truth about the father of her child?

Brian and Diane fight to overcome the past, embrace the present, and build a future as they travel with ShadowsForge on “THE LONG WAY HOME.”
